Diana Palermo is an artist, educator, and spiritual practitioner making work under the umbrella of experimental photography. Her work generates images of the unrenderable through photographic conjuring and alchemical experimentation. Diana's work probes the relationship between power and intuition with a researched focus on religion and sexuality.

The artist’s work has been exhibited globally through performances, exhibitions, and solo shows most notably at The Newark Museum, Montclair Art Museum, International Print Center of NY, Tiger Strikes Asteroid, Crane Arts, and Fuller Rosen Gallery. Diana’s work has been featured in books and magazines including Artforum, The Pattern Base, Rapsodia Magazine, Curious Matter, and Cor Magazine. The artist holds a BFA in material studies with a concentration in fiber media from the University of the Arts, an MA in Art Education from Kean University, and is currently an MFA candidate at Columbia University. | www.dianapalermo.com
